The Amex Resy credit: which restaurants qualify

Since August 1, 2026, the American Express Resy dining credit only works at restaurants that Resy flags as “Qualifies for Resy Credit.” From September 15, 2026 that list grows to include select Tock restaurants. Here’s how eligibility works and how to check before you book.

How eligibility works

A U.S. restaurant must be marked eligible on its Resy booking page or app at the time of purchase for the credit to apply. Resy shows a “This venue qualifies for the Resy Credit” badge, and the “Resy Credit” filter in Resy search narrows results to those venues. No reservation is needed — just pay with your eligible Amex card at a qualifying restaurant.

Tock restaurants

Resy started listing Tock inventory on August 11, 2026 — you can find Tock restaurants on Resy and are sent to Tock to complete the booking. Beginning September 15, 2026, select U.S. Tock venues qualify for the Resy credit, with more added progressively. Being listed on Resy is not enough: a Tock venue counts only when Resy shows the eligibility badge on it. Eligible Tock venues appear on our map automatically with a “Book on Tock” link.
